Client Feedback

Brett de Hoedt understands media and how to get the best from it. Brett started working with us during Schizophrenia Awareness Week 2003 when he assisted us in challenging a visiting British nutritionist who claimed schizophrenia could be cured. Brett's support enabled us to gain coverage for this and other stories on mental illness in the metro dailies as well as across a range of radio programs including ABC 774, 3AW and 3AK. Brett raised the profile of the Mental Illness Fellowship, whilst also publicising our key event, resulting in a capacity crowd for our lecture with Professor Allan Fels at Federation Square.

Since then Brett and his Councillors at Hootville have been a key member of our team. Their work and our media, including media summaries and clippings, can be seen at www.mifellowship.org/newsours.asp

The Hootville's knowledge of the media and advocacy is backed up by networks enabling them to turn ideas into action. Brett's personal professionalism, creativity, wit and energy ensure you maximise your opportunities.
