Media Savvy 101 Half-Day Workshop
MS101 has been enjoyed by staff from St Vincent de Paul, Berry Street Victoria, Amnesty International, Windana, The Telstra Foundation, The Burnet Institute, The Lighthouse Foundation and the Association for Children with A Disability.

We use a mix of chalk and talk, role play and video. Testimonials below. Frankly this course is the goods - practical, fun and full of stuff that makes a PR degree look like the academic exercise it is. Hootville's standard NFP discount applies.

The exact length of time for each session depends on the level of participation and enthusiasm of the participants but four hours is considered typical.

Fee on application. It includes pre- and post- course surveys and substantial notes. Sessions are conducted at the clients’ venue anywhere around the country.

The curriculum is based on the following:

What Media Wants:: know the rules of the game & get the media coverage you seek.

Communications Commandments: four principles to guide your communications.

Media Releases: writing, distribution and follow up. Professional distribution options;

FAQs : preparing the right answers to the right questions;

Attendee Reviews
